Phrogs is a Psychedelic Rock band that blends neo folk, gothic rock, punk and mariachi. For live performances Phrogs is a four piece setup with Edd on lead vocals and guitar, Jake on bass guitar, Dickey on the trombone, and Loren on the Drums. The four friends all hail from Claremont, NH and got their start playing small local venues when Loren and Jake (two thirds of the punk band Chodus) convinced their buddy Edd to perform his music in front of a live audience so they could experiment with different genres of music. Early live performances of the original trio left Edd disappointed that his sonic vision was incomplete in a live setting. Inspired by the horns heard in mariachi, Edd invited his friend Riley to join them for a show. The missing ingredient was found and this is the legendary Phrogs line up we have today.
